You may associate the term audit with pre and post PMCPA or MHRA audits. It is, however, important to remember that regular external reviews undertaken within an audit framework provide measurable returns for you. Our external reviews provide valuable insight into areas where you can reduce your risk of breach. It's also important to remember that a proactive audit-driven monitoring program will highlight those areas in which you are delivering compliance or exceeding industry benchmarks.
We understand that only a small number of actions can lead to your organisation or other organisations conducting themselves in an unacceptable manner. Our aim is to work with you and reduce the risk of actions that may lead to a breach and a PMCPA or MHRA audit request. We also understand that you may be required to notify the relevant body of a breach by another organisation we will work with you to ensure you are able to do this effectively.
It is important that you understand why a breach occurred and how the implementation of rigorous procedures will prevent a re-occurrence. In addition, there is a need to identify areas which could affect the on-going maintenance of compliance with regard to the Code.
In response to the PMCPA or MHRA requiring an audit, we collaborate with you and conduct a route and branch audit of your organisations. You can call on our industry-wide knowledge and understanding, as well as active experience, to assess the extent to which you comply or do not comply, with the ABPI Code of Practice. Our collaboration with you does not stop there, once areas for improvement are identified our team will give guidance and identify a pathway to compliance.
